This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, changes and refunds work for bookings made through SkyAssist.
1. 24-hour free cancellation
For most flights to or from the United States, US Department of Transportation rules allow free cancellation within 24 hours of booking when the flight departs at least 7 days later. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 7–10 business days.
2. After 24 hours
- Refundable fares: Eligible for refund per the airline's fare rules.
- Non-refundable fares: Most airlines issue travel credit (minus any change fee) for future use.
- Basic Economy fares typically cannot be changed or refunded after 24 hours.
3. Schedule changes & cancellations by airline
If the airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, you may be entitled to a refund or rebooking under the airline's policy. We will help you process the request.
4. Service fees
Any service fees charged by SkyAssist are disclosed prior to checkout. Service fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. How to request
Call +1(877) 370-8131 or email support@skyassist.store with your booking reference. We process refunds in the order received and aim to reply within 24 hours.
6. Disputes
If you believe a refund was not handled correctly, contact us first. You may also file a complaint with the relevant consumer protection authority.
